At Age of Glory, we create lifestyle clothing inspired by classic 70’s motorcycle clothing, but also the spirit of workwear and the heritage of vintage clothes. Our goal is to reinvent the world of motorcycle clothing to make everyday clothes. Every piece we design is a fusion of our love for vintage aesthetics, workwear robustness and the spirit of vintage motorcycles.
The result: functional, elegant and timeless clothes that are perfect for both riding your bike and chill with your friends.
Traditional motorcycle clothing simply did not fit our vision of what motorcycle fashion could be. So we decided to create motorcycle clothing in our image, a mix of practicality and style. Design pieces that fit all aspects of modern life, on the road or off the road.

When I tried to buy to myself clothes for the motorcycle, for my own use, difficult to find clothes that I really had pleasure to wear.
What offered the brands of the market did not really make me dream. Inspired by the lifestyle vintage universe of the 70s, I thus tried to bring my own touch to vintage classics.
I wanted to be able to find my influences in what I wear, whether I am on my motorcycle or on foot …

Workwear and vintage inspiration

To achieve this balance, we were inspired by workwear and vintage spirit.
Workwear, with its heritage of utility clothing designed for strength and durability, has always been a symbol of functionality and comfort.
From its beginnings in workshops, worksites or factories, this style of clothing has passed through the ages to become a real reference in the fashion world. It is precisely these qualities that make workwear a perfect influence for our creations, because, just like motorcycle clothing, these pieces are designed to offer protection but also freedom of movement and style.

Vintage, on the other hand, represents the essence of our passion for pieces that have crossed time and tell a story. We wanted to reinterpret this style by mixing it with the codes of the motorcycle, creating clothes that are not only trendy, but have a soul.
By fusing the functional look of workwear with the elegance of vintage, and trying to respect this common heritage, we have given birth to clothes that are both practical, resistant and perfectly adapted to a modern lifestyle.

Our bedside books
This book, but also many others, is a perfect example of our inspirations. A kind of bible, not only inspiring about product designs but also about the culture of an era whose objectives were very different from those of today. These books are a very enriching archive for our creations.
The Vintage Showroom is a book written by Douglas Gunn and Garry White, founders of a London boutique specializing in vintage menswear. It explores the history and craftsmanship behind vintage fashion pieces while showing their influence on modern trends.
Authenticity
Many brands are looking for authenticity, but they are mainly interested in the term marketing rather than the approach. By definition, authenticity is not a mercantile principle but a true global approach, a state of mind.
At Age of Glory, we are not trying to tell you that we are authentic. We just try to be it in the facts, through our inspirations, our designs, our philosophy and above all through the love and passion that we inject into our brand… While respecting the heritage of our inspirations. But you are the only judges of this authenticity.
Our definition of authenticity may well be summed up in this sentence:
“Designing products is putting a little of yourself on paper. Sharing your passion, experience, tastes… A new product is the result of a real reflection on what I want to share through them: Age of Glory’s identity must come out of every product.” Sébastien, Creator of Age of Glory.
